Welcome to EasyPeasy ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: If you sign in with Apple or create an account, we collect your email address and a unique identifier provided by the authentication service.
• Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the app, such as the number of recipes generated, grocery imports, and meal plans created.
• Device Information: We collect information about your mobile device, including the device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for security and anti-abuse purposes (via Firebase App Check).
• AI Input Data: When you provide ingredients, pantry items, or upload photos of food, this data is processed by our AI services (Google Gemini) to generate recipes. We do not use this data to personally identify you.
• Analytics and Diagnostics: We use Firebase Analytics to count how features are used (for example, recipes generated, votes cast or photos added) and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and performance data. These events use a random app-installation identifier, are not linked to your account, contain no recipe text, photos or allergy details, and are not used for advertising or tracking across other apps.
• Plate Photos: If you add a photo of a dish you cooked, we store it with that recipe so you and your household can see it. Before it is stored, the photo is resized and its metadata (such as location, device and time) is removed. Plate photos are not sent to our AI services.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and improve our AI-powered recipe generation and meal planning services.
• Manage your subscription and usage limits.
• Secure the app against fraud and automated abuse.
• Analyze aggregated usage patterns and crash reports to fix problems and improve the user experience.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services like Firebase (for authentication and database) and Google Gemini (for AI processing). These providers have access to your data only to perform these tasks on our behalf.
• Recipes You Share: When you share a recipe, it gets a public web page that anyone with the link can view, including its plate photo if you added one. Stopping sharing (or deleting the recipe, the photo or your account) removes the page and photo; copies cached by link previews or other services may take up to a day to expire.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app settings. To prevent abuse of free-tier limits, we retain only an anonymized count of the current month's recipe generations and grocery imports, stored under a one-way cryptographic identifier that contains no email address or other personal information. It is used only to keep that month's limits in place if the same email address is registered again, and it is automatically deleted after the month ends.
